Word is Jon joined Omerta. Is the bet shop taking bets on how long until he gets bored and leaves? We’re riding 10,000 Brunsens high on 1 month.

Has Sweet turned sour? Word is we are seeing more of the side of her that got her kicked out of DA and annoyed the Senior Mods. It appears DA was never the problem because she is the same in a more established gang; Sinners.

Shortly after Jon joined Omerta; Word is his former #1 Amy followed and joined too.

What is up with this Machete guy? Word is we noticed something gingerly fishy about him during his numerous bouts with Diamond.

Just as we were ready to publish our “Omerta > Sinners” article; we trashed it. Word is Sar left Omerta to join the Vipers.

As expected; Word is Savea, KeeKee and Lyna left Omerta shortly after Sariel. We expect all them to make Vipers more overpowered. Then we emptied trash.

Word is Fail is back; you probably didn’t know because she isn’t a rival gang member to shoot.

Did DA reshuffle their deck of ranks? Word is Shawn is now a general and Mike is Captain again. Did Spencer get recruit?

Word is many serious role-players are losing their cool over details. Will they get banned before realizing realistic role-play in Syn is like forcing a squared peg into a round hole?

It is well known Vipers abuse the rules. Word is Moses did what Vipers did best after being attacked while building; cry until they get their way and a new rule was created few weeks ago. The new rule is builders can’t be attacked while wearing their builder tag because they are building. But Moses abused those privileges by wearing his building tag to safely watch cap rp between Machete and Diamond. Few minutes later we saw Machete receive a Vipers tag.

More role-play in Syn equals more metagaming. Word is the radar is being used to decide when to “take a walk”; like before a fight to save time running after a back up call. Also the camera is just as handy to see through walls; you may find a lone rival gang member to jump and thats when you “take a detour” in their direction.

Last edition we mentioned Omerta boss Caren is M.I.A. Word is Sinners boss Celestia is also missing. Is the badger alliance a rescue mission?

Want to see more of Vipers veteran gun Maya? Word is you can if you host a special event. Maya made appearances at Whacked’s speeches, SNG/T.H.E.Y. war and Shink’s poker night.

Will the real chicken legs please stand up. Word is Diamond has been accepting all 1v1 challenges while Samara who calls Diamond “chicken legs” has been ignoring all of her challengers such as Lamont and more recently; Jon; who made it clear in OOC he wanted to challenge her.

Recommended corrections

Are certain Vipers avoiding fights? Word is that guy. You know what guy. Yeah that guy was was roleplaying cleaning Vipers HQ; then in the middle of it Mike of DA called for Viper/DA alliance backup. In less then a minute of the backup call we saw that guy teleport to his home.

Are certain Vipers regretting joining fights? Word is on numerous occasions we seen Nonny conveniently “crashed” in fights where Vipers badly predicted the other side’s numbers. In Nonny’s defense; there is more pressure improving KDR as Captain.

Word is Jay Jay’s good friend Panther left Omerta and joined La Vendetta. Did he not like scary masks with antlers?

If things weren’t bad enough for Omerta; Word is Lola lost a half level and Jay Jay’s new girlfriend Ariana got banned.

Our favorite Ariana moment. Damn that guy. You know what guy. Yeah that guy.

Word is both Sinner’s car show and Viper Shink’s poker night events were a success; both events avoided conflict and each could use more participation from rival gangs.

Is Jay Jay getting greedy? Word is after Moses defeated Chronos in a 1v1. JJ ran out of his house to try to corner a 30% Moses. Then Moses found a way safely to his house.

In a recent gang fight; Word is Machete all alone (level 10) took the decent Minx (level 20) from 100% to 25% with over 80% left. Then Diamond (level 21) at 100% was taken down to 29% before finally killing Machete. Did we mention Diamond had the help of Omerta’s Jett (level 8) who was also taken down to 63%. We watched both Minx’s and Diamond’s meters enter a constant drain their maneuvers couldn’t evade for a single second.

Maybe Jay Jay didn’t kill every member in DA/Viper alliance. Word is the honey badgers alliance is having great difficulty winning when Black appears. We don’t recall ever seeing Black defeated.

Word is Khaal left SCPD upset regarding the ridiculous turn the rp she started has taken; yes Nonny was involved and tweaked it her way.

Were you visiting the underground? Word is you will get an earful when mommy finds out.

That is the amount of XP lost over the weekend; 200,000; spread over 5 people. Who lost and why? The underground has done some digging.

Moses – 10,000 xp lost Possible Reason: That guy who claims he changed specializes in charades. He will  stop doing something once it becomes a re-occurring theme; then move on to his other tricks. Whatever the reason for losing xp; it was deserved.

Cosmo – 20,000 xp lost Possible Reasons: COSSSSSSSSSSY; we can’t think of anything else then her big OOC drama starting mouth.

Jon – 30,000 xp lost Possible Reasons: We are bummed Jon is on this list. Sometimes very cool and other times the biggest dick ever. Jon is in his dick state and Vipers are getting him very hard. Our guess; low blood flow to brain and OOC combo did it.

Crisis – 50,000 xp lost Possible Reasons: Crisis is a private and quiet guy; we don’t see him losing xp over words. Best guess is it was his higher then usual; bouncy ball like jumps.

Samara – 90,000 xp lost Possible Reasons: Did this miracle really happen? Did the most absolutely ridiculous jump cheater and Queen of rampant OOC bashing get what she deserved? It was late coming, but happened. We don’t think she will learn.

These punishments are no laughing matter. Some of those punished are leaders; the ones setting examples for their followers is the saddest part. Today; the mod team made an example out of them for the rest of us. Reminder OOC bashing, cheating and bullshit won’t be tolerated.

The amounts lost are fair; because these higher levels should know better. If they don’t; they got what they deserved. It appears mod favoritism towards Vipers ended; should we stop calling the mod team “Viper & friends”? We’ll cut them some slack; because dishing out punishments of this nature took guts.

Are we at the bottom? Is this a turning point for Syn?

Did Vipers finally fill in those big Captain shoes Lamont left? Word is yes; Nonny was promoted to the very prestigious Captain role.

Watch out for Alexandria from La Vendetta. Word is this chica is hot stuff after defeating Moses recently and humiliating Death a few weeks back.

Does Izzy spider sense tingle? Word is when there is a fight or a chance of it; Izzy disappears from all chats; Strange.

Word is Samara is quick to notecard any negative comment said about a Viper. But continues randomly attack others in OOC chat. The undisputed queen of negative OOC bashing should go notecard herself.

Word is Fyng rejoined SCPD and Jon left; upon leaving Jon was aggravated and determined to destroy the department. Did the SCPD bust the daddy dom in a sting?

Does Nonny own rp chat? Word is Nonny is trying very hard to outpost everyone in the group; spamming irrelevant posts and half rps. Does she believe every post is a “greatest hit” worth sharing?

Word is Sinners Anonymous program is back with a official clinic. Can Shink save the deteriorating Diamond?

Good luck obtaining a full merc license. Word is full mercs are defending their licenses. Sammy defended hers against Jon. Few days later, Diamond challenged Amber for her license. Amber sent Diamond hiding in Sinners HQ and called her out for unnecessarily prolonging the humiliation.

Are Vipers following Sinners? Word is new male recruit Alex got p*ssy whipped out of Vipers by new Captain; Nonny.

Is that guy. You know what guy. Yeah that guy swinging the other way? Word is yes. According to Fredo; the former owner of Fredo’s Titty Bar and Fredo’s Gay Bar franchises.

What good is a reward if you can’t behave? Word is halloween decoration contest winner Diamond lost half a level.

Does mod dater Death not understand the no relog after intent rules? Word is he relogged after intent in one fight; then in another fight relogged his alt and rejoined a fight his main died in. Other Vipers; including their springy feet Queen were inspired to do the same.

Does the original Honey Badger don’t care? Word is Caren hasn’t been seen camping for weeks while Omerta collapses.

Did you have boss’s permission? Can you show it? Did you do 3 lines of intent? Can you show it? Did you read the rules? Can you prove it? Word is non-mod Nonny has been harassing many over non-issues. She should go over the no relogging after intent rule with all Vipers before worrying about others.

Vipers provided us lot of content for this edition of “Word Is”; we have one more story. Word is in a fight against Sweet; a fight no Viper should have died; Shink killed Moses.

Syn National Guard vs T.H.E.Y.

End of Whacked and rp in Syn? Nope; lag prevented the bomb from going off.

Last Sunday the conclusion of SNG (Syn National Guard) vs T.H.E.Y. (????) roleplay ended. Citizens were parted into one of the two major sides. SNG fights for good; T.H.E.Y. are whacky penguin worshippers fighting for destruction. The plan behind this roleplay is individuals will enlist themselves into one of the sides.

But instead bees followed their swarm joining one side. This started because of one bitter person who didn’t take part in the event. In week towards the event Fyng; the top commander of SNG left Vipers. Samara got upset and grabbed the strings of all her Viper puppets; then pulled them out of SNG to cripple Fyng. T.H.E.Y. became primarily Vipers with members of DA; only Hyst and Mike. Other members of DA were a disappointing no show.

Samara forcing Vipers to join T.H.E.Y. wasn’t the only example of bees swarming. Minutes before the first battle took place. Jay Jay; who is in the middle of his hater collecting tour; pulled the douchebag move of switching teams. Why? Because SNG outnumbered T.H.E.Y. by nearly double. Because JJ being the only member of Omerta in T.H.E.Y. rejoined the few members of his gang in SNG. Later more members of Omerta jumped on the SNG bandwagon to help JJ battle all his haters.

“JJ said T.H.E.Y. numbers are low at the moment and he wants to fight for us now.”

Although all of SCPD was in SNG; their reason is valid. We didn’t expect any cop to go against the Mayor. SCPD had a good showing with Jon, Fiona, Dina, Sonya, Lilly and don’t forget Faye’s rare appearance. SCPD has many experienced members but they didn’t seem as cohesive. We watched Jon, Dina and Faye each get themselves stuck in bad situations.

What about Sinners? Hand them respect for risking group harmony by splitting their members and help us avoid another stupid edition of #honeybadgersdontcare. We didn’t hear any reports of drama between Sinner members and we hope that was the case. Because it was epic watching Sinner bosses Crisis and Diamond team up with Fyng and Jon sweeping the streets of T.H.E.Y. in the opening fight. We were rooting for Bambi as she tried to keep up with other SNG members. It was thrilling as odd to watch Miss Sammy and Tyr help T.H.E.Y. successfully pull a stunning defense at Vipers HQ against surging SNG forces. It was also fun watching the Ulysses sisters Minx and Tink team up with Maya and Moses as they hopped between sims wrecking groups of SNG. These sights were highlights.

RP occurred between and during fights. Above T.H.E.Y. bring down Mayor statue.

Who shined? Despite losing the Viper support; SNG Commander Fyng was stunning as ever; we can’t say enough about Fyng’s tactical prowess. On T.H.E.Y. side we were impressed with the inactive Maya who hasn’t lost a step between long absences. Falcon is another noteworthy mention who kept the much stronger Jon occupied in a 1v1 like battle that crossed sims and ended with time running out on Jon in a firehouse massacre. Jay Jay also performed very well with his various run ins against skilled members of T.H.E.Y..

This event has put the two garbage war days this year to complete shame. Both sides had nearly equal numbers as the event continued. Then there is a rp reason for all the carnage; to bring down City Hall (building that looks like a giant turd after 10m). Removal of this building will help the old sim free up prims. Mayor Whacked should be thanked for planning and successfully pulling off this role-play. His sophomore year as our Mayor has begun with a bang big enough to bring down his own shining beacon of hope.

Can one who doesn’t bother anyone be left alone? Word is members of Sinners/Omerta are jumping Shawn with numbers when he doesn’t.

Strangely; Wulf is behaving. Word is it is because he lost half a level. Are the very partial mod team we like to call “Vipers & Friends” doing their job?

Is that guy. You know what guy. Yeah that guy scary without a costume? Word is on Halloween when he visited Ireman Park; every Sinner ran.

Is newly elected council woman Nonny starting a revolution? Word is she is using her caps as an example of how some cooperation can make caps fun; is cooperation the missing ingredient?

Everyone should learn from Jon. Word is after taking a break; he returned re-energized taking pleasure rebuilding the SCPD and challenging skilled fighters into 1v1 matches. Dramatic 365-ers take note.

Is Chey Moo Moo for Mo-mo Puffs? Word is she couldn’t stop talking about Moses IC and OOC since he capped her.

Are smart phones not supposed to be allowed in Syn? Word is some are whining about Vipers using a friend finder app to perform Socom Navy Seals like rescues exactly 30 minutes into the cap. What so wrong with cheap, easy and gray area legal; Vipers specialty?

Is that guy. You know what guy. Yeah that guy seeing things? Word is no. We applaud that guy for catching something we see from time to time; but don’t report out of best interests. That guy pointed out a certain someones xp was greatly boosted. We won’t give any more details; underground recommend all keep tabs to catch these type of events. Preferably; we report on the biggest ignored steaming piles ruining our favorite combat sim.

Enjoy it while it lasts honey badgers. Word is discussions regarding ending alliances have begun.

Notes: Sinners dug themselves into a deep growth hole after losing their 2nd strongest fighter; Shawn. This type of lost bites into their core after lost of few quality members before Shawn. Despite this; Sinners were able to recover most of lost and enter November only 3% weaker. DA received a big growth boost after recruiting Shawn; if they could have kept Fredo they would have seen their growth % nearly double. Starting next month a new gang’s growth will be tracked; La Vendetta.

Fantasy Syn: Kickoff

Today Fantasy Syn begins. 1st results will be posted a week from now. If you don’t know about it and want to play; see our getting started guide. It is never too late to join. We plan on tracking stats beyond the regular season we’re in. There will be an end sometime. We will announce when near to prepare your league. We will try to give each league enough time to finish.

We have updated the scoring system. Recap with new criteria.

• 5 fantasy points per kill
• -3 fantasy points per death
• No negative scores
• 10 points added to fantasy score if participated in any combat, even if you died.
• *NEW* 50 fantasy points max cap per member

We are capping fantasy points per member to 50. Reasons for this rule

1. Fantasy Syn is team building game
2. Min impact of farming
